A great way to make big bucks with affiliate marketing is when you subscribe to other peoples products and start promoting for them.
Every time you make a sale or in some cases send a lead, you get paid. You can promote by using your website, building landing pages or just using pay-per-click.
No need of investment, inventory, licenses etc. – In the last 5 years, the internet made many millionaires that started doing affiliate marketing.
Thought about writting a book but don’t know where to start?
Why don’t you start a blog? Every time you post, think of it as part of a chapter. When all is said and done, print all the posts. You’ve got a book!
Later you can use the blog to promote the book, asking people to give reviews about the chapters. You can have a book trailer and put on Google, Youtube and others to reach thousands of people. And why not have a podcast where you read some chapters?
Sticky Sites Work: Make your site “sticky” by adding discussion boards, freebies, software downloads, and/or free original content.
Ebooks: Writing and giving away your own e-book is viral marketing at its finest. After creation, make sure you list it with the various free ebook directories that exist for such purposes. You’ll also want to contact other site owners who may have an interest in giving your content away for free to their site visitors or ezine subscribers. If you run your own Affiliate Program, you could make them re-brandable as an incentive for your resellers to give your ebooks away.
Coupons: Use your PC to create some money-saving coupons for a discount on online purchases made at your site, and pass them out or do a direct mailing and also list them on your website.
Voicemail: If your company has voice mail, have your employees’ list your web address in their messages. If you use an answering machine, make sure you include it in your “unavailable message”.
Your email distribution list is one of the most valuable tools you have in your online and offline marketing. Complemented by a good Ezine, website, consistent focus on driving traffic to your site and gaining visibility, the potential for growing your business is unlimited.
Begin by contacting anyone who is currently in your database. Even if you only have ten names, that is a start.
If you have email addresses, send a short email out to folks to announce the new look of your site and invite them to sign up for your Ezine. Not everyone will sign up. If your information does not immediately solve a problem for them, they are not going to be interested in signing up for anything.
Provide a place on your website for people to register for something free. Make sure the sign up form is visible.
Business cards are often one of the most underutilized tools in one’s marketing. Use the front and back of your business card to gain full benefit. Depending on your market you can put some very valuable information on the back such as a sports schedule, emergency numbers, or special dates people want to remember.
Keep some in your wallet, your automobile, on your desk, and some at home. Be sure to carry them with you wherever you go and be willing to hand them out as opportunity presents itself.
Creatively distribute your card. When you eat out you can leave one with the tip. If you borrow a library book, use one as a book mark. Hand them to clerks in stores who may know other people who could use your product or service.
When someone gives you their business card be sure to enter their information in your database. Send them a short note or email within 48 hours of meeting them to keep your name fresh in their mind.
